🏃🏽♀️trailway diaries: my new jogging spot
Remember my jogging journey? No? Okay cool 😭 LOL. Sooo, I recently tried out the Barbados Trailway and I might never jog anywhere else again tbh. Jogging in my area is cute and all… until you gotta dodge vehicles like you in a video game.
But at the Trailway? It’s giving peaceful outdoor escape vibes🧘🏽♀️. Traffic? Humans only. I’m talking joggers, dog walkers, skaters and the occasional hikers. Very minimal too.
Heads up though — see this paved road I’m on (so aesthetic btw), if you follow the trail past the end of the road, you just might end up in a canefield… and on the news💀. LOL ok it’s not scary, I actually went through it, but trod carefully (or don’t👀).
📦 lost and found
What’s next? Hmm… Oh yes! My missing SHEIN package. I bet you remember that though.😆
Friend, what was lost is now found – annddd in my possession! Which is just shocking to me because despite multiple emails to SHEIN and the carrier, I never got a response.
Yet, one day I was chilling (like a villain), actually I was at work… wishing I wasn’t. Buttt Bajan Pack reached out to me and they were like, girlll… we got the package. So I did what I needed to do and BOOM💥here she is!! (literally doing my happy dance 💃🏽).
Maybe, just maybe, I like SHEIN again 😬 and now I can move on with one less worrisome thought.
🦩 whew! flamingo fever
Guess what? I went back to Paradise Nature Park to see the flamingoes!!!! 💖🦩 Like… can we get a commotion for the girlsss?👏🏽👑(okay they might be males too but whatever🙄).
Just acknowledge the grace. The elegance. The PINKNESS!
A flamingo HAS to be the most beautiful bird, hands down.
Alsooooo… I touched a snake 🫣. Don’t panic. I didn’t hold it (and it wasn’t looking, THANK GOD). Just a little stroke and go. Shockingly though, it’s not slimy or gross-feeling at all. But anything in the lizard family tree still makes my skin crawl so I made my exit QUICK after that.
Seems like they have more animals coming too, so I might be back again!

There’s this thing about life where you get a happy moment or two and then BOOM💥- something WILD, just hasssss to occur. YESTERDAY, April 5th 2025, it’s like the devil said, bring that ass HERE👇🏽.
Just imagine me, driving home from pilates like a normal citizen, at normal speed, listening to normal music… and before I could blink properly, I in a pothole. Not a cute lil dip – a grave. 😐
Next thing I know, I’m down ONE RIM. And not just damaged. It snapped in half… INSIDE THE TIRE. 🤯
THE TIRE = FINE. THE RIM = SHAMBLES. Make it make sense, and make the sense make that. 😐
The noise humbled me so quickly, I turned off the music the same time. For a hot second I thought the tire exploded, but no. It was just the rim… I was literally driving on a bare rim. Just scraping the road for MTW. Cause OBVIOUSLY, they can’t get it done!
So yeah, that’s my week’s trauma. Adulthood is literally a joke and I want OUT. ASAP. 🙃
Life? 10/10 chaotic. Would not recommend — on second thought, I would because it makes great blog content 😅
