Hey friends!👋🏽 I know, I’ve been a bit MIA lately. Work keeps cutting into my playtime (yes I’m rolling my eyes as I type🙄), but here I am, back with the updates you didn’t know you needed! I’m working on getting a proper posting schedule together so I don’t feel like a hot mess juggling everything… but let’s go!
back to slow jogging ✨🏃🏽♀️
So, what’s new? I’ve started slow jogging again! This has been an on and off thing since last July, but let’s be real—the holidays derailed me big time. I guess decorating was more important than cardio LOL.🎄😂
Getting back into it was a struggle at first (I’m talking legs on fire and stuff), because although it’s slow, it’s lengthy. Anyway, it’s becoming enjoyable again. If you’ve been considering running but hate the idea of feeling like Usain, slow jogging is where it’s at. Think of it as walking with a little bounce—low effort, high vibes. ✨If I can do 2.6 miles in under an hour, you can do it too. We all gotta start somewhere right?

Now let’s move on to the real highlight: Pocky sticks. Ever tried them before? No? Go get some.
So, I went to this store called Singapura at Limegrove to grab some Asian dumplings. They have all the Asian food you can think of btw. But as I was checking out, I spotted these little Pocky sticks and instantly had a YouTube nostalgia moment. That’s where I discovered them a few years ago. Never thought I’d find them here in Barbados but ok 😌.
They only had the strawberry flavor (or maybe I just grabbed it because it was pink—no regrets), but they were delectable! Sweet, crunchy, and just enough to make me wish I’d grabbed a second box because I would actually eat some right now.

Pilates, Pilates, Pilates. If you’ve been keeping up, you know I’ve been doing this for a while, but there’s a plot twist: we have a new instructor, Sean. And y’all, Sean is… different.
This man’s on coffee 24/7 and energy is actually afraid of him. Breaks? Nonexistent. Springs too heavy? Get over it. 😂 He pushes us hard, but I can’t lie—it feels amazing when class is over.
So that’s how that has been going, I’ll try my best to get some live content during class. Not sure if I can record in there but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

bubble tea run 🧋🍏
Ouu, guess who tried a new bubble tea flavor? MOIII. Cue happy dance. 💃🏽
So this time I went for a green apple fruit tea with mango popping boba, and wow. The combo is fruity, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. Honestly, it’s the kind of drink that makes you go, “Why haven’t I been doing this forever?” Idk if it like it more than the strawberry lemonade one though.
I’d rank it as one of my top flavors so far, but let’s be real—I’m still exploring the bubble tea universe, so stay tuned for more!
