Hey friends! 💕 I hope your new year is off to a fantastic start (unlike mine, but we’re not going back there. LOL). On a brighter note, I’ve already checked another bistro off my bucket list: Sage Bistro! 🎉

So, apparently, Sage Bistro has been around for three years? THREE YEARS. And I had no clue! 😅 It’s like walking into a secret garden—greenery everywhere, wooden accents, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. Seriously, from the outside, you’d never guess how enchanting it is inside.
The second I walked in, I thought, “I could sit here every morning with a coffee and pretend I’m living my best life.” I don’t even drink coffee but it’s that peaceful.

Of course, I had to start with a drink—an iced matcha latte. It was only my second time trying matcha, and… I’m still undecided. 😂 It’s definitely an acquired taste, but hey, I finished it! I think I’m warming up to the green stuff.
Now onto the star of the show: I ordered the Hearty Breakfast. Picture this:
- Fluffy scrambled eggs 🥚
- Crispy bacon 🥓
- Juicy sausages 🌭
- Sweet baked beans 🍅
- Toasted bread 🥖
- Grilled tomato 🍅
- Grilled potatoes 🥔 (but wait…)
Listen, I love potatoes, but I needed plantains on my plate. So, I swapped out the potatoes for plantains, and just like that, my morning was made. 🙌🏾 I loveeee me some plantains! They hit every single time.
the staff? pretty chill. 👨🍳👨💼
Here’s an observation I couldn’t help but notice: most of the staff were men. No offense to my ladies, but what a breeze that must be in the workplace lol.
a bistro + a boutique? yes, please! 🛍️
What’s also unique about Sage Bistro is that it’s not just a restaurant—it also has a little shopping area. I didn’t get to check it out fully, but I could see some cute items that would probably tempt anyone in a shopping mood.
