🧚🏽‍♀️ Wait… is this place even real?

What’s up scribble squad! — I recently visited the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, and let me just say… this was NOT the same place I remembered from years ago 👀

Like… who gave them permission to turn it into a whole enchanted forest?! 🌿✨

I’m talking lush greenery, peaceful vibes, birds everywhere, and honestly? It was giving:

👉🏽 “turn me into a fairy and leave me here permanently” energy 🧚🏽‍♀️😂

📸 If there’s one thing about me…

I WILL take pictures. Period. 😌📷

Every corner of this place was screaming “picture moment!”

From the wooden walkways to the ponds to the greenery — I was literally stopping every 5 seconds like:

“Wait… this is cute. Hold on. Let me take this.” 😭

If you’re into aesthetic photos or nature shots — this is YOUR spot.

🚶🏽‍♀️ Getting Lost… but not really

Not even gonna lie, I was a little confused at first 😂

I was walking around like:

“Okay… where do I actually go??”

But honestly? Getting “lost” kind of added to the experience. It felt like I was exploring instead of just walking through a regular park.

Eventually, I found the entrance/payment area and after that it was smooth sailing.

Chaos Entered the Chat 🐍💀

Let’s start with the scariest part… the reptile area 😭. Now listen—me and reptiles? Absolutely not. These things make my skin crawl in ways I cannot explain. I was in and OUT of there so fast, it wasn’t even funny.

Honestly, I spent most of my time strategically positioned by the door like:

“yeah… I could leave at any moment” 💀

But look what I did for the plot…

Of course I still took a picture 😂📸. Because what is fear when a photo is on the line?!

🐦✨ The highlight: feeding the birds

Okay but let’s talk about the REAL star of the show…

Feeding the birds. 🥹🐦

Listen — I did not expect this to be my favourite part, but wow. The birds were SO pretty, so calm, and surprisingly… friendly??

I spent the MOST time in the aviaries just standing there in pure awe!

And when you have food? Oh, they are ON you.

But here’s the part nobody warns you about…

👉🏽 Even when you DON’T have food… they’re still interested in you 😭

One started picking at my headscarf…

Another went for my bracelet…

I was like:

“Excuse me?? This is not for you???” 😂😂

It was honestly hilarious and lowkey wholesome at the same time. Like sir… respect my accessories please.

🕊️ The vibe? Peaceful. Calm. Needed.

Life has been life-ing lately, and this? This was a reset.

No loud noise. No chaos. Just nature doing its thing 🌿

You hear birds, water, and your own thoughts (which… okay… slightly scary but also healing 😂).

It’s the kind of place you go when you need to:

  • Clear your mind 🧠
  • Romanticize your life 💅🏽
  • Touch grass… literally 🌱

🥤 A little post-walk treat (because… obviously)

Now listen… after all that walking and pretending I was in my fairy era, I needed a little something to sip on 😂

Good news? There’s a super cute spot right on the premises 👉🏽 Coco Mode

And babyyyy… when I tell you it’s aesthetically pleasing?? Yeah. They knew what they were doing 😭✨

Clean, cute, and very much “take your pictures here” energy — so of course I did what needed to be done 📸

I grabbed the Berry Bliss smoothie 🍓🫐 and I’m not even gonna lie… it was GOOD.

Like… refreshing, fruity and not too sweet.

👉🏽 Rating: 9/10

Honestly, it was the perfect way to end the whole experience. Walk through nature, romanticize your life, then top it off with a cute smoothie moment? Yeah… I ate that. (and drank that 😂)

🐟 One tiny regret… (but we’ll fix that)

The ONLY thing I wish I did??

Grab fish food.

Because apparently feeding the fish is a whole experience too, and I completely missed out on that 🥲

But don’t worry — that just means one thing:

👉🏽 I will be back.

And next time? We’re feeding EVERYBODY. Birds, fish… all of it 😂✨

🎥 I had to vlog this… obviously

You already KNOW I brought you guys along with me 😌🎬

Because experiences like this? We’re not gatekeeping.

The full vlog is up on my YouTube, and trust me — the camera does NOT even fully capture how beautiful this place is in real life.

💭 Is it worth visiting?

1000% yes. No hesitation.

Whether you’re:
