Today was one of those slow, relaxing Saturdays that just makes life feel right. You know – the kind when you take your time, enjoy the simple things, and just let the day unfold naturally. First stop? You guessed it, Pilates! Told y’all I was going again next Saturday! 😁
new pilates routine, same refreshing vibe
This class was different from the last one, which I loved. New session, new routine. We really tested our muscle strength today with the hand and foot springs— 😮💨 Talk about a workout. Last time, I had no idea what I was doing, but today? Let’s just say I’m starting to feel like a pro (LOL, kidding). Honestly though, I did feel more comfortable with the moves and the flow. There’s something so satisfying about seeing your own progress, even if it’s just a little more ease during the session.

After class, I was starving. Originally, I had planned to eat at Sage Bistro, but for some odd reason, they weren’t open. So, I took a little detour and ended up at Blush Café instead, which was an absolute win! This place is the definition of girly and aesthetically pleasing. Think pink and floral everywhere—totally my vibe.

I ordered chicken quesadilla and probably the most refreshing drink on the menu, the ‘You Glow Girl’ smoothie.

While waiting for my order, I noticed it was taking a while, but no stress. The waiter came over, explained that there was a little mishap in the kitchen, and they offered me a drink on the house. Guess what it was? Prosecco! I didn’t even have to press the bell! 😂 Now, that’s service. Needless to say, I’m definitely doubling back to this cafe.

the food & smoothie situation
Eventually, the food came out, and it was good—crispy quesadilla with just the right amount of cheesy goodness. But the smoothie? The real MVP! Made with mango, passionfruit, and honey, it was so refreshing that I almost forgot to take a picture for you guys! Imagine that. I sipped, snapped (just in time), and enjoyed every last drop.

resting the day away
After breakfast, I decided the rest of the day would be dedicated to pure rest. No errands, no rushing, just me taking it easy and soaking up that slow Saturday energy. I’m all about finding balance these days, and today was a perfect example of that.
How’s your Saturday going? Don’t be afraid to write me—I’d love to hear how you spend your slow, restful days!
