Hey besties 😌💅🏽— grab your tea, coffee, or whatever you’re sipping on because this week’s vlog is a ride. I started off saying goodbye to spooky season 👻 and hello to Christmas (yes already, don’t judge me 😭). It’s officially holiday mode and I am readyyyy as usual.
👋🏽 bye Halloween, hello Christmas 🎅
So first things first — down came the Halloween decorations 🕸️. And before anyone says anything… yes, I know it’s early. But listen, it’s time for Christmas! I refuse to wait. The decor is calling my name.
But wait, what better way to start the season than with some local magic?
💡 Barbados Lighting Ceremony magic ✨🇧🇧
Next day, I went to the annual Lighting Ceremony in Barbados — and let me tell you, it was nothing but pure vibes! You guys know how I get with lights or any type of decor 😍.
It’s this beautiful festive event that celebrates our island’s independence 🇧🇧. There’s a whole countdown before the decorative city lights turn on, followed by fireworks 🎆, live performances 🎤, and vendors selling all the local goodies.
This was actually my first time going and even though it wasn’t as packed or sparkly as past years, it was still so pretty. Honestly? I’d go again.
🧴 hair wash day chaos 💨
Fast forward to Sunday — time to prepare for the week! I decided to tackle a full hair wash day routine 🧖🏽♀️. From undoing my old hairstyle to moisturizing and blow drying — everything was going smooth… until…
BOOM 💥.
Smoke. Coming. From. The. Extension. Cord. 😭😭😭
Girl, I was stunned. Like— why is smoke obsessed with me?? First from the car, now from my hair tools?? At this point, I need to sage my electronics.
Anyway, I unplugged that cord faster than I could imagine and dumped it in the trash 🗑️. Because why was it melting?? Nope. Absolutely not.

🏃🏽♀️a little jog & a lot of peace 🌅
Next day, I went for a jog. Nothing new, just me trying to keep my life together 😫. It was getting dark, but I made it just in time to squeeze it in.
Then, I treated myself to something that deserves a chef’s kiss 😌 — a vanilla frescante from Italia Coffee Shop, with caramel syrup. Starbucks who? ☕✨
And since I was in no rush to go home – because who ever is? (me, duh), I sat by the beach 🏖️— well lit, peaceful, and totally free. Doesn’t that just sound… great?
🚗 drive to work with me 🎶
Two days later, it’s time to adult. 🥲
Again, remind me who made the rules?!

🎁 mini Christmas haul (like… mini mini) ✨
Now let’s talk about my mini Christmas haul — and when I say mini, I mean mini 😅. I don’t do crowds or “town life,” but for Christmas? I’ll go to the ends of the earth, ok??
So I went to get a few Christmas ornaments I saw online — specifically emerald green. Tell me why it looked like The Grinch passed through before me 💀. Only two packs left?! BRUH.
But don’t worry, I got them anyway. Good thing I have a plan B.
And thank God I found some brown ornaments too because whew. There was no other plan for that.😭
Oh! drumroll pleaseee 🥁— I finally got a gingerbread house! Well, technically a mini village 🏠✨. This is something I’ve wanted to do foreverrrr, so cue my happy dance 💃🏽.
