life in Barbados lately: beach trips, grocery runs + halloween finds 🎃👻

So this week’s recap was basically me trying to get my life in Barbados together… emphasis on trying 😅. If you missed the YouTube video, go watch it here— it’s giving “productive week in my life” energy ✨.

💪🏽 pilates… and me vs my arms

Started the week off at Pilates as usual. I got to the studio pretty early but of course, the studio was locked 😭. So there I was, sitting outside, enjoying some quiet time with my thoughts… 

Class itself was good — if by “good” you mean my arms are still recovering from whatever Rachael made us do. But honestly, it was a solid Pilates workout at RedZen Pilates Studio.

🛒 grocery run (aka my personal hell)

After class, I decided to go grocery shopping. Mistake number one.

I had to go to two stores because apparently one grocery store just refuses to carry everything I need. Like why can’t we just make one Superstore that has everything? I’d personally fund that project if it means less human interaction 💀.

Trying something completely outside my comfort zone

Anyway, I did it because we’re trying to eat at home more and stop spending $25 on each meal. The math isn’t mathing anymore.

Fast forward to the next day — I went to the beach! And guess what? Drumroll please… I actually went into the water 😳👏.

Yes, you read that right. Me. In. The. Sea.

If you know me, you know that’s not my usual vibe — the ocean and I are not friends. But we’re stepping out of our comfort zone this season, apparently lol.

Only stayed about 20 minutes though because it was getting dark and quiet and I’m not trying to be the main character in a Netflix crime doc, thank you very much.

Now let’s talk Halloween! I waited way too long to decorate, but life be lifing, you know? So here I am, doing a last-minute Halloween decor run like some festive lunatic.

Shockingly, I still found cute stuff in Woolworth — and under $100 too! Who is she?!

To wrap up the week, I squeezed in an evening run 🏃‍♀️. It’s been raining nonstop lately, so I haven’t been able to go as often as I’d like. But the weather finally gave me a break, and honestly, it was worth it.

So yeah, that’s my week — Pilates soreness, grocery store rage, ocean bravery, spooky season finds, and a little cardio moment to top it off.
