Heyyyyy friends, it’s Sundayyyyy so you already know what time it is… time to scribble! 💗✍🏽😂
Okay let’s talk about the fact that I willingly paid money to be sealed inside a metal tube… submerged in the ocean… with other people… just to go see fish. Like?? Who told me I was bold enough for this? Not a soul.
Was it scary? Um… let’s unpack that together 🥲
This submarine tour has been on my bucket list since last year, and even though the ocean scares me a little (okay, a lot), I really wanted to see what it looked like down there in real life. Pictures are cute and all, but actually seeing things with your own eyes? Different level. No camera can capture that feeling — it was honestly pure joy and amazement once I got over the slight panic.
(Also, maybe don’t be like me… sometimes curiosity actually kills the cat 🙃)
Getting Ready 😌
Ok so boom… we’re getting ready.. literally we are PRESSED for time – as usual. The tour started at 10:00AM, check-in was 9:30AM. Before I continue, I just find it funny how I wake up early, in the hopes of getting ready early and it never works out.
This outfit though? Gorgeous.
The dress? Perfection.

The jewelry? Sparkle.

The shoes? Elite.

Me? Stunning.

If you want to see the full process, I filmed a GRWM in the vlog. You can go watch that… or stay here and let me yap a little more first 😂
By the time I was finally ready, it was minutes to 9:00AM so you KNOW we had to go! And it wasn’t close either. On my way there, I’m watching the clock jump from 9:00 → 9:15 → 9:20… I was hoping and praying that they don’t leave us behind because dear God of Mary & Joseph, I would be PISSEDT!
Good news though — we made it in time to check in and breathe a little.
The Gift Shop 🎁🐢
While waiting, I spotted the cutest little souvenirs in the gift shop. I bought a pen… and now to think of it, I have no clue where it is.

Making our way to the submarine
Anyway.
They handed us our boarding passes and walked us onto a boat that would take us out to the actual submarine.

And of course, that’s when they started explaining how to use the life jackets so naturally I begin to think about every possible thing that could go wrong. In fact, in my head it has already all gone wrong.
And yes, I TRIED not to think about that submersible that imploded… but my brain said: “Let’s revisit that trauma.” 😭
Boarding the Submarine
Okay y’all… we pulled up to the submarine. From what I could see, it looked safe. Notice I said looked.
I sat there debating if I should fake an emergency and go back to shore. The boat was rocking, waves doing the most, and I just knew if I stood up I’d go flying.
But eventually… I stood up, grabbed a pole like my life depended on it, and boarded.
We’re on and it’s time to go down…. *cue Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack 🏴☠️*.
Inside? Surprisingly spacious. I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. It fits up to 48 people, but not all seats were full, so it was actually comfy, cool, and very relaxing.

Oh and probably a little bit scary because all you could see is blue. Like… where’s my mom? Never mind. Let’s sink! Literally 😬.
Watching the Depth Like a Hawk📉
We started going down and I stared at the screen showing the depth.
The numbers just kept rising rapidly. Like how did it go from 3ft to 80ft so quick??? At this point, I was just bracing for the implosion.
Untillllll…. We reached the ocean floor, yes… the DAMN ocean floor…
AND BOOM💥… A SHIPWRECK. 🤯😱

No babes, not Titanic sadly. But still very cool.
From there, we saw:
- Coral 🪸
- Tons of fish 🐟
- A STINGRAY 😯

And honestly? What was fear?
The music, the tour guide, the captain, the vibes, the fish — everything felt soothing and magical.
And I know you may be thinking… but what if you saw a shark ?
Yeah I thought that too but I probably wouldn’t have been able to write this post if I did 😂
I’m Officially a Submariner Now 📜😂
When we came back up, the next group was there — and I got to watch the submarine go down in real time. I vlogged that too, duh!

I made it back to land safe and sound, grabbed some lemon pepper chicken tenders and fries

and got a whole certificate.

Yes.
I am officially a submariner now. Maybe I can add that to my resume. 😂

I already want to go back and do a night dive. Maybe I’ll see an octopus or something dramatic. Will I actually do it? TBD. Stay tuned. 😌
Watch the Vlog 🎥✨
Now that you’ve heard the story, go watch the vlog to see it all happen in real time. Trust me — it’s way too good not to see.
