My week, my week, my week… where do I even begin? Two bank holidays in one week?! Yeah, run me that AGAIN! (no fr, I’m not playing). I was actually living.
So, Heroes Day hit first, and what did I do? Beach, of course. But not just any beach — Guess where I went… AGAIN? Yupppp! Copacabana💁🏽♀. If you know, you know. The day beds? Absolutely unmatched. Imagine lounging in bed… but make it beachy and sun-kissed. Pure heaven.

Honestly, the vibe was peaceful, the ocean was doing its thing, and I was doing mine. NEXT!
the rude awakening called “work” 💻
The next day? Work. I’m sorry… what?! and why? Ugh! I was not ready. And no, there’s no content from the office (yet). I might start snapping a few behind-the-scenes moments but honestly, do y’all even want to see me struggling through the lions’ den? Didn’t think so 😩.
Anyway — work was work. That’s all I have to say about that. Moving on.
labor day…or lazy day? 🛋️
Now Labor Day came and went in a blink. I seriously cannot tell you what I did. Like… did I relax too hard? Or am I just trying to skip to the good part (spoiler: I kinda am). Either way, it was blissful (any day away from work is) and blurry. We love that balance 🧘🏽♀️.
saturday night = main character energy ✨
Drumroll please — Saturday finally came and so did the highlight of my week. I, yes me, went to dinner at Champers Restaurant and before I give you the DEETS! just knowwwwww… actually I’m just playing. But this dinner date was all things lovely!
Ok pause – I guess we’re pretending Friday didn’t exist but besides working from home (BORING) and prepping for Saturday, nothing big happened.
Hmmk, back to Champers! Let me just say: the ambiance, the service, the company — 10/10. But we need to talk about the food. Because OMG. The food wasn’t just good, it was chef’s kiss 👩🏽🍳💋
I had this fancy lamb dish with veggies and creamy potatoes (I forgot the actual name, sue me lol) and I swear I’ve never tasted something so perfectly seasoned. Could I make it at home? Maybe (absolutely not). Would it taste that good? Be serious. I could barely make noodles.

🍑 My drink? A peach daiquiri because strawberry was too basic for the night I was about to have.

🍨 Dessert? Just some basic vanilla ice cream. Not because I’m boring, but because I was stuffed, also, nothing else on the menu was enticing to me.

Beachside, fine dining, good company, good food, great portion sizes… I was living last night if ya asked me!
so that’s a wrap 🥹
And just like that — the week is over. From sun-soaked beach days to fine dining nights, I was really out here romanticizing life one moment at a time.
